The slogan of the Health Clowns "Where there is laughter, there is hope" has now gained momentum.
Thepurpose of the work of the Health Clowns is to bring joy and encouragement to all those suffering. But at the centre of their attention are children - the sick, the disadvantaged and now those who have been brought to us by war.
The Health Clowns are there for all who are struggling with the fears and anxieties arising from the events of these days. They continue tirelessly to visit children in Czech hospitals and the elderly in geriatric facilities on a regular basis. They make over 300 of these clowning around per month.
In addition to the regular clownery, activities for children fleeing the war were added.
The health clowns spend 4 hours every day in Assistance Centre in Praguebringing encouragement and hope to Ukrainian children who have had to leave their homes. We are now also visiting the Ukraine Assistance Center in Ostrava and are ready to support these children in every region.

Evil can be fought in different ways - the weapons of the Health Clowns are optimism, joy and laughter. We distribute them in hospitals and other places of deep despair - we also help our Slovak and Polish clown colleagues directlyon the border with Ukraine.
