Health clowning for children

We know how to cure a bad mood! Health clowns, usually in pairs, come to children's wards to prescribe laughter, chase away stress and sadness, cheer up little patients and prescribe more than a great deal of humour.

Health clowns, in the role of funny doctors and nurses, head to the room to assess the current condition of patients. Equipped with a white medical coat, red nose and a briefcase with lots of unusual props. The "merry round" begins!

Each Health Clown has their own original name and costume. Yet they are quite different from ordinary circus clowns. A health clown is not made by flashy, pompous external attributes and distinctive make-up. On the contrary, empathy, playfulness and sensitivity to one's own "flaws" and "mistakes" are what make a clown - a Health Clown. The white coat and names of Health Clowns come from a medical background. That is where hospitalized children are, after all, and they need to gain perspective on it. They need to laugh at it!

For every "happy visit" you need to prepare thoroughly! Before the start of the Clownade, the Health Clowns consult with the medical staff about the current condition and condition of the children. This is the only way they can choose the most appropriate form of treatment for a bad mood. Through improvisation, each little patient is drawn into a funny and unexpected situation. The aim of the Clownade is to mentally separate the patient from his illness and psychological discomfort, to engage him in a game and to put a smile on the child's face.

Clown visits positively change the environment of paediatric wards. Our team of Health Clowns practices all over the country. In a month, these well-being experts manage more than 300 visits. That's approximately 1,000 hours of laughter. See when and where you can meet us.
